This registration is for 7th, 8th, 9th graders that are participating in confirmation at OSLC. Registration is part 1 of 3 part process. Please complete the attached Permission Form (first page of attachment) and return to Pastor Susie upon registration completion and print and review the confirmation handbook, which includes the dates for the 2024-25 year.

Returning Students

 
Student Agreement

By registering for Our Savior's Confirmation Ministry, I acknowledge that I am making a commitment to be actively involved at church. I understand that I am expected to complete all program requirements.
 
 
Parent Agreement

I will assist my child in meeting all program requirements.
 
 
Parent Requirements

We require at least one parent of confirmation students sign up for at least one of the following. We also require a background check on everyone that works with confirmation students. The background check is available online on our website at www.oursaviorsonline.org under "forms".

The following is the explanation of parent requirement choices.

Small Group Leader (Guide):
You will lead the same small group for 3 years, organize 2 service events and 2 fellowship events for your group each year, and attend retreats.  There will be guide training and guide meetings throughout the year. Be sure to mark if you want your student in your group or not in your group.
 
Substitute Guide:  You will be called to substitute as needed.   If you are needed you will run a small group for that night.
 
7th Grade Faith Stepping Stone assistant:  (7th grade parents only)You will help with set up, clean up, check in, assist as needed during the stepping Stone and help provide treats for the Stepping Stone sessions. 
 
7th grade retreat “In House” Retreat (7th grade parents only)
You will help with meal prep, set up, clean up, and chaperoning the retreat.
 
9th Grade Faith Stepping Stone assistant:  (9th grade parents only) You will help with set up, clean up, check in, assist as needed during the stepping Stone and help provide treats for the Stepping Stone sessions. 
 
Middle School Event Chaperone:
You will help with youth fellowship events. You will be contacted before events
 
Provide a SALT meal:
You will donate the food, cook, and help serve dinner to around 50 SALT students one of the workshop nights. I will match up parents so the cost won’t be so high.
 
Technical Assistant:
You will help WIRED (the confirmation tech. group); setting up sound needs, Media Shout presentations, help mentor youth in leading worship through technical means, assist in planning slideshows.  Technical experience is helpful.
 
Band Assistant: You will help with NO EQUAL (the confirmation worship band); setting up equipment, helping with music, encouraging leading of worship.  Passion or experience in worship/ music leadership appreciated.
Confirmation Fees:

Annual Fee is $140 per student. 

You can choose to pay now or later, if you wish to pay in installments or need scholarship assistance, you will choose the pay later option. You can then pay through our website under the "Give" tab to pay in installments by credit card or to pay later by credit card. 

If you will need scholarship assistance the Confirmation Director will be in contact with you.
